It was originally founded as an art colony founded as an art colony in 1938 and was built by American artist and architect André Smith (1880-1959).

Lazy H Ranch is located in Kissimee, Florida, about a 30-minute drive from Orlando and fantastic place for horseback riding photoshoots! 19. Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive

This Wildlife area is just a 20-25 minute drive from Orlando on Lake Apopka, on the Lake Apopka North Shore. It’s free to visit (though donations are welcome), and an excellent way to get wildlife photos from your car! You can also bike this one-way road.

Be aware of the time of day and if it’s really bright, you may want to use a polarizer on your lens, especially if you’re photographing a lake or body of water. The polarizer will act like sunscreen and keep out the harmful rays, plus will allow the photo to look better overall!

📸 Weather. Orlando’s summers get really hot and humid, and it also is very cloudy. The winters are shorter, but cooler and partly cloudy. The temperature is rarely below 39°F or above 94°F. The best times of year to visit Orlando for photography in warm weather are from mid-March through mid-May, and from mid-October to early December.

📸 Get outside of the theme parks. Orlando is the “theme park capital of the world”, and it’s easy to see why people love them – they’re great, and visiting them is a blast! Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L is III USM Lens

This is a great zoom lens for wildlife and macro photography for when you want extra-close photos from far away!

Canon EF 16-35mm Wide-Angle Zoom Lens

This is the lens I use because I love landscape and wide angle photos, but I didn’t want to sacrifice zoom capability. I definitely want to add another standard zoom lens at some point, but this is the perfect main lens for my photography style!

📸 The Best Camera Straps for Hiking (these are also amazing for long theme park days)!

✅ DJI Mini 4 Pro Drone

This drone is the best for travel and adventures because it’s easy to pack and carry. It doesn’t weigh as much as others and it can fold to fit in your camera bag!

✅ GoPro HERO 11 Black Action Camera

This GoPro is waterproof down to 10m (33ft) without housing, and it’s perfect for any kind of Orlando adventure, from hiking/biking, to kayaking and helicopter-riding, to going on theme park rides! Just strap it to something and let it record your adventures while you take photos with your regular camera or phone.

✅ Circular Polarizer

As mentioned earlier, a circular polarizer blocks the sunlight enough to allow you to get better and clearer photos when it’s bright out, especially of bodies of water – it’ll help you get clearer water pics (it’s perfect for that clear kayak tour mentioned earlier)! Just make sure to get the size that fits your lens.

✅ Memory Card (for DSLR/SLR/Mirrorless)

This memory card is the industry standard because it’s the highest quality. I’ve used lower quality cards and I had issues (especially with video), so this kind of memory card is a must!

✅ 4-In-One Travel Tripod

This is the tripod I use because it’s lightweight and easy to pack (it folds small enough to fit in my carry-on suitcase), and it’s so versatile. It can be used for cameras and phones, as a tripod or monopod, and even as a selfie stick and hiking poles!

✅ Remote Shutter (this one works with Canon cameras)

Remote shutters are what you need if you want to take sunset/sunrise and night photography, or low-light photos indoors, so your camera can take those long-exposure photos and stay still!
